Hello, new to L.A. DSM but not new to DSM world.
Hello , my name is Juan. I just joined this forum but I've active in other ones. The reason being that I recently moved here from Washington and did not know about it until a guy stop me on the streets of Hemet and told me about it. I love my DSM even though it needs a lot of work. I only have some basic mods done to it. I hope to meet new people and make some new friends, share my knowledge and learn some from every one else.

Here are some pics of my ride. And about making it to the meet , I can't at this time . I'm in the need of a tranny and most important a JOB, to be able to get a reliable one. But I promise I will make it to a meet.

Welcome to the site and good luck finding a job. Look forward to seeing you at a meet when you get the car running reliably.

Who is Wally? I haven't heard of anyone having issues with the timing belt exposed.

Re: Hello, new to L.A. DSM but not new to DSM world.
Welcome to the forum and show up to the monday night meet. haha im wally and yes I did put a shirt through my motor. I thought rockin my motor with no upper timing cover looked cool until I learned the hard way. I was at home sitting bored and decided to go mess with my motor biggest 1500$$ mistake I made. I did lose a 25 dollar shirt tho . Then 2 months later and almost 2k im back on the road so please look at my thread and put your timing cover on ASAP yes it looks cool but not worth it. Get a clear upper timing cover atleast. Just my thread is long and it shows why you should have that timing cover it even made other people put there cover on lol. However putting a shirt though my motor was the best thing did 2 full complete swaps and put a motor together myself not bad for a noob I say haha. Here it is enjoy its full of funny and scams and other things viewtopic.php?t=9558
