Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. I don't think my car will be going on the dyno. Sam is coming to San Dimas after work and we are going to break in and do some starting street tuning. If it goes fast enough we may head down to the meet.

Got her up and running tonight, mellow street tune at 19psi and put 100 miles on it. It felt great to drive her around a bit. Thanks to Sam for putting in a late night with me.

Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. Got the car aligned yesterday and had the passenger fender massaged so it quits hitting the tire and doesn't look so horrible. I still need to do something about the paint though. It took all freaking day hanging out at Mueller's shop but it got done. I'm impressed with how good they were able to do with the crease that was in the fender. The car is back to handling good so now all I need to do is get it all tuned up and ready to rip wink wink nudge nudge Sam.

Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. Sam tuned my car last night. Here is a quick rundown.
Rough break in street time was around 250 awhp.
91 reliable tune is around 300 awhp.
e85 got us 452/442.
The 8 blade HX35 in the bolt on housing behaves almost exactly like the 5031 did. The 50 trim even had a bit more on the top end. I think that the bolt on housing was really limiting the HX.

Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. Sorry I missed the session last night. Something came up! Man, it blows my mind how much e85 will gain you. How fast was the spool? Got a dyno graph? How much psi were you able to run on 91? On e85?

Re: Wes's Car finally acting like a DSM. The spool was pretty quick but not any quicker than the 50 trim was, both hit around 3800. Sam is going to email me the dyno graphs today and he might just post some up.
On 91 we were sitting right around 20psi. On e85 we were up in the 30s I forgot the final numbers that we settled on.
