You're getting way ahead of yourself. Listen to people's advice on fixing small problems like a CEL caused by the BCS before trying to bypass it with a new turbo and a built motor.

ok say that then i have told you im new at this so instead of saying funny shit say throw a differnt turbo on that will handel the stock iternals and im sure you can make this benifit someone like hey i have a ? turbo that will give you a lil more power and ill trade you for you 20g insted of me getting a stock turbo and letting a 20g sit sround for a coupe months which i know is dum couse most of you probibly have somethin better then a 20g if people think im getting pissy im not im simply be a smart ass back and learning a lot at the same time. when people say go buy a book i thout that was the purpose of this wesite because on hand experince with someone is somethims better then reading a book that tells you this is one way to do this

this website is to help each other out but we all hope and pretty much expect people to have a certain amout of basic knowledge.

aperently you posted a thread about your WG code problem and you didnt listen to peoples advice and went and bought a turbo that can and will blow up your motor, and you thought that it would fix your problem.

it seems that you dont have alot of the basics down that are required when you start modding a car like a DSM, these cars are alot more complex then any non turbo car and they are vey picky.

you should always attack everything one problem at a time and never try to fix a bunch of things at once and definatly do not put a 20g on a otherwise stock car. running a 16g one an otherwise stock car is not even a good idea but it is possible.

thank you i do have a lil bit of knowledge of these things im know clamimg i know a lot but i saw the turbo on the car and when i bought the new one it was the same size now i knew the turbo on it wasnt stock and the one i got was cheep so i thought it wasnt that big of a turbo but now i learned it is a big deal even though its no garret ballbearing

my buddy thought a 20g was a good idea too. He went out and got one, threw it on (no supporting mods) the stock lower heatshield on the turbo didnt fi back on, so he ran it with out one. He drove out to fontana from the valley. Turbo got so hot that the fadiator fans, wiring, and basically anything under the hood melted. The car over heated and to motor took a shit. He had to cut his losses and move on. Guess what? he doesnt want a 2g on his new GSX.

ok thank you everyone for the input it helped now i know i have to get a differnt turbo. after i read up on things and figure out some stuff i will ask the real questions that wont waste your time i appreciate the input it has helped me not make a huge mistake by wasteing time and money. know do you all think i should just buy a stock turbo and put that on.
