After getting my gsx started I noticed that some trans fluid was leaking. Turns out it's coming from the p/s axle input, it looks like the axle backed out of the transmission. It almost seems like the axle is too short to engage the wheel bearing and the trans. Anybody know what the problem could be?
I found one thread on tuners dealing with the same issue but there was no resolution...
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie- ... t-fit.html The guy in the forum compared the axle lengths of different years/models and found no variation. My car's history doesn't indicate it's been in an accident, which appears to be correct, and I don't know the history of my transmission.

Edit: I found this info: "A 95-99 2G FWD Turbo DSM tranny has F5M33-SPZT stamped on it also has same beefier diff and bigger axles. The difference between the 93-94 1G axles and 95-99 2G axles are the length." at this thread:
