You search sights like and you buy a Chilton or Haynes manual.
I think the crank sensor was changed from year to year through out the 2g models.

If you're talking about the CPS aka Crank Position Sensor on 2gA's(95-96) they're on the crankshaft on the timing belt side. I believe on 2gB's(97-99) they're in the CAS themselves because there is not CPS located on the crank on 2gb's.

On my 99 engine there is a crank sensor and trigger plate on the crank as well as the cam sensor.

Re: Help! How do i get to the crank sensor????
If your doing this becuase you lost spark on cylinder 1&4, It's more likely than not that replacing your CPS wont fix it. I'd do the coils and Transistor pack first. Make sure firing order is correct (at the coils its 41/23 or 23/41, depending on your setup). Transistor packs are the same from 92-99, I have an extra I'll sell for 25 bucks. I wouldn't jump into the CPS until you have already tested everything else.

Re: Help! How do i get to the crank sensor????
Yeah I figured I would just tell him that since he kept spending money on unnecessary stuff. I forgot about that but you should have asked for someone to take the scanner but remember christ his car didnt run. If you take it to midas or some shit tip the mechanic like 10 buxs and he will do it hehe. Thats how my friend with a prelude got his read. Well none of this matters you got your car running something I need to do. Hope to see you at the meet.

What are you talking about? They still "lend" them out. You have to pay for it and return it as if you purchased it.
