 what did I do wrong???
Installed the Walbro255 in my 95awd! My gauge said my car was empty to I put like $10 in and it raised to a quarter, so i thought i did everything okay until I drove it around all day and it didn't lower it went higher, when the car is shut off it was stuck on a half tank, I put gas in it just cause I didn't want to run out and it raised to 3/4, Now my gas gauge is stuck there and will go up and down by like a 1/8 or 1/16 everytime I look it seems, How can I fix this??? Is that arm float in the wrong spot or what did I do wrong on the install??? thanks in advance..

Re: what did I do wrong???
Our gauges are shitty and break super easy due to age. When I got my 95, I pulled the cluster out to take the ugly face plate off and my RPM and Spedo gauges stopped working! My guess would be to check the line again?

Re: what did I do wrong???
So our best bets for us two is to take out the cluster gauge and see if it works properly and remove the rear seat and recheck the fuel pump.

Re: what did I do wrong???
If it happened after installing the fuel pump then you should probably pull it back out and make sure the float is not bent or getting stuck on anything, the low fuel light uses a different sensor so that should still work. There was a post somewhere on tuners I think about calibrating the the sending unit.

Re: what did I do wrong???
Pull out the assembly and look where the float arm slides the contact for the potentiometer. The contact surface might be dirty or you may have tweaked the float arm enough so that the sliding contact sticks rather than slides.

Re: what did I do wrong???
Go fill up you tank and if the gauge doesn't go all the way up, go loosen the plastic ring that hold the fuel pump and try clocking the fuel pump housing. Only go one way and give you car a couple of mins to see if the gauge goes up. If it doesn't try going the opposite way and see if the gauge goes up. On AWD's the floater can get caught up on the plastic housing that the assembly sits in.
