 Completely lost oil pressure
Hey well today I saw my gauge reading 0 oil pressure. I dont know what can cause this since I have never had this issue. It cant be leaking oil or low oil they are new. My oil is at the correct oil level. Every seal on the engine is new. I never noticed it did this until now. Engine I swear feels like im hauling a bunch of cows. It does not want to pick up. Does anyone know what can cause. I do know I have slight rod knock sam found out about it.

Do you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge or the stock one? and if you have rod knock then it is on it's way out either way

 Re: Completely lost oil pressure
Sometimes the wire will pop off the oil pressure sending unit that is threaded into the oil filter housing. Check this first.

 Re: Completely lost oil pressure
It's the Wire, hey man. Get an aftermarket Oil Pressure gauge. if you decide to go with a Autometer get either some Vacuum hose or something else to replace to Autometer tube with since it kinks really easy and the tube mine came with wasn't long enough to reach how I routed it.
I tapped into the same spot the OEM sending unit is tapped into.

 Re: Completely lost oil pressure
Well problem was fixed it was that stupid wire just hanging there. It was a grounding wire. It slipped right on top of some weird ufo looking thing that was on the oil pump.
