need couple of number and locations to tranny
Okay so today I took my 95 gst auto awd converted to the dealership and told them what is wrong they told me they need me to find out this information out myself if they do it they will charge. So can someone answer me these questions? I did search but nothing says where number are located. Whoever did the swap didn't finish I think. All the awd parts are there but I need to know if the tranny awd computer and also the ecu computer.
These are the questions.
1.What is the transmission number? where is the number located.
2. What is the transmission computer number? where is the number located and how do I get to it.
3.What is the ecu number?
If anyone can answer me this I will really appreciate it Thanks guys.

Not many of the guys in our club are running autos, so you might not find much info on the trans here. For that, I'd recommend doing a search and posting your questions at http://www.DSMtuners.com. As for the ECU, here's a couple useful links.

Re: need couple of number and locations to tranny
Yeah thanks I did read it I posted this info on another forum to help me with the tranny issues. I did find out the ecu has eprom and where its located and how to get it out thanks. Now I got the codes read and this came out P0700 Trans control system malfunction. Also the weird thing is misfire codes were not thrown and I did have misfires. The car has been in limp mode wich second gear will remain there and not shift.
Okay found out the ecu is under the radio and the tcm is under the cup holder and the tranny number are engraved on the bellhousing. Thanks guy hopefully I can get it running good before monday so I can go to the meet. If they still happen. I will buy sparkplugs and new cables I know the best sparkplugs are bosch right jk NGK all day everyday haha.

One more thing you might want to look into
Make sure the gearing in the rear end is the same for auto and manual I know 1gs are different
