You think a bad ground could cause the car to not start?

no. Its just putting 30,000 volts to a spark plug that isnt grounded wont spark

Well took it to the shop.
Get a call at about 3:30pm.
shop-"I have bad news"
me-"what?"
shop-"no compression"
me-"what?"
shop-"I took apart the valve cover and your rockers are all over the place, they came off."
me-"what?""how much to rebuild it again?"
shop-"more than a grand"
me-"WTF!!?""damn I cant afford that right now, just leave it the way it is and ill take it"
So yeah, thats whats up with the car. All that time changing parts around and no compression.
The funny thing is the car ran when I got it back from the shop the first time when it when in for redoing the ECU harness. than i drove it around for 1 day with only 3PSI due to a boost leak. Changed the J pipe and couplers and it NEVER STARTED AGAIN.
