New to the import world
Hi my name is Jose. I just moved here to North Long Beach from the East Coast a year ago. For years I have always dreamed of owning an eclipse but never had the opportunity until recently. I am now, a proud owner of a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T. I really lucked out on this deal. It came lowered, with rims, a sound system, and a whole lot of mods that I have no clue that do what exactly except advance its performance. Truthfully beyond changing oil, brakes, and spark plugs I have no clue about cars. But now that I own my dream, I'm ready to take a crash course in everything I need to know to improve and maintain my dream. Thx for reading this. I look forward to your replies

Re: New to the import world
Im from spotsylvania, Va. Or bum fuck egypt as we call it out there lol. Its the complete opposite from here. Nothing but trees, hills, and country side.ti
And in response to the import definition debate. My understanding is that any vehicle that isnt american owned such as ford, chevy, etc is an import. Juat cause the japanese product was made here doesnt change the fact that its an imported product. Because im sure all the parts are shipped from japan and only assembled here.

Welcome to the site, you will soon know how to do a whole lot more to cars. If you keep your dream alive you will soon be a master mechanic. But it's all worth it when that turbo spools.
