Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
Got my Lightning dynoed in Torrance last week and there was an E85 pump that just opened at the cheveron down the street. Probably the one on the list. When the one in orange opens up I'll have a better reason to get my 1G going again.

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
SWEET! The station was was supposed to open in Escondido (where I keep my DSM) is scheduled to open today. I will have to take a drive near there next time I'm up there to see if it really opened.

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
Guess they may be a bit behind. I just called the Orange station that was due in May and they said about 2 more months Guess I'll have to wait a little longer unless the Corona station opens on time, hopefully

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
I just searched the Corona address and it looks like it will be at an Arco, does that mean it's going to be watered down?

Re: NEW E85 stations in CA
Then you might actually like them. They're thought to use the maximum 10% ethanol mix allowed in their gasoline blends to reduce costs so you might be getting less mileage than another gas station with a lower or no ethanol mix. Another reason is their additive mix is either lower quality and/or lower quantity than other higher tier brands. A lot of people perceive Arco to be dirtier gas when in reality, it's just their lack of additives leading to deposit and gunk build up.
