Just because brent rau "says" he uses fel pro doesn't mean everyone should use it. I prefer stock mitsu HG it's nice and strong I hate fel pro personally it looks and feels like cheap material to me. Stock HG goes a long way if it's taken care of right meaning not overboosting and shit. I just prefer it cause it's like a fail safe. Think about it what would you rather have. Stock HG blowing up and just having to replace that and resurface the head? or Metal HG NOT blowing up and shooting the problem somewhere else if you overboost(like in my case in one of my older 1g talons which went to my piston rings). Choose your poison

fel-pro is one of the best after maket gaskets their is compered to OEM they are about the same in quality. the way they will last the most is depending on how well you prepare the surface and correct torque is always good thing to keep in mind. offcourse cometic and HKS is the best. but fel-pro is good enough, and i run this one in all the work i do.


fail-pro is composite probably ok for stock boost, but Mitsu or Cometic MLS is better for a moded car. Brent Rau probaly changes them after every few runs

But for a couple of Bucks more you could ask the autoparts store to give you the MLS version.:wink:
