Well i got my Throttle body for the VR4 back today from Steve Monroe over at throttlebodys.com, Got all the bells and whistles that come with the rebulid including a blockoff plate for the FIAV, man that guy is cool as hell man, like seriously i recommend him to anyone that wants to rebuild their throttle body, Hopefully this will help get rid of my stupid idle surging issue. anyways here are the pics |

for a complete rebuild and new everything including the FIAV blockoff plate and shipping it was 155, he even gave me new gaskets and the ISC o-ring, i wasnt even expecting those haha |

Im gonna send my 1g tb there soon, for when I do my E85 conversion....not sure if I should get the FIAV blocked off.. |

The FIAV block off plate supposedly helps with a good idle and how you'll never have to worry about it ever leaking. the only downside is if you live in places where its ALWAYS cold, then it would be hard to keep it idling the first few mins during its warm up. but for places like california it wouldnt afftect you. |

Yeah i know, I dont see why I should block it though, As my idle is pretty damn good thanks to DSMlink. It bounces just a tad due the the 272 cams Im assuming. But never had an idle issue/idle surge. (knock on wood) I'm sure it will already be hard to start on a cold morning with E85 in the tank |

I didnt know DSMlink can help the idle too, I have yet to install mine, ive had it for a while now but been waiting to install it because i wanna do everything all at once, so thats why its taking so dam long, plus the VR4 takes up some of the GST's Build money haha |
