I was there that night too. That guy was talking shit about Jerry and not just about the plate. He tried to knock the plate down on purpose, lucky shot or not he hit it. He was also talking shit to us about how it was his meet and some people probably remember him acting like an ass the week before too and he wouldn't shut off his annoying alarm even though he was only standing a few feet from his car. After that night I stopped going to that meet but went back a few months later to meet someone to pick up a part and they were still talking shit about Jerry & DSMs
The plate was leaned on the bumper like in this pic

If you guys wanna go to that meet you are more than welcome to. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from going, I was simply stating what happened to me at this meet. I personally will never go to this meet again.
Just today I raced a S2K on the freeway, pretty fast I must say, I barely beat him and he laughed after reading my plate.
What was funny about that night was he was talking about how I dress(greaser) even though he was wearing a pink shirt.
