Not really a question but i though i share some Evo 8 560cc injector correction info using powerFC standalone.
Some back ground
Recently I upgrade my stock injectors to Evo 560cc to run a Evo III 16G, now the problem was at 14lbs of boost my IDC was already at 86%
. Reason was, i made size corrections on the powerFc but did not ajust Latency correction ( i m a noob i know). so in the future if anyone is runing powerfc and need to config for larger injectors heres the math.Old SIZE / New Size = Correction
New Latency - Old Latency = Latency Correction
I had a really hard time finding the Stock Latency hopefully this will help powerfc users in the future
Stock 450cc (95-99 Black) at 12v latency is 0.67
Stock 450cc (90-94 Blue) at 12v latency is 0.82
Evo 8 560cc ( Brown or Pink top) at 12v latency is 0.85
Now i m made the Latency correction and my IDC is at 71% at 14lbs of boost
for your visual guys heres a log ( just a log not tunned, was happy finally fix my IDC problem)
ALSO just want to say BIG BIG THANKS TO JOE ( he found the Latency chart that saved me)! and CLOCKWORKTOY (really knows his shit, i almost grabbed the wrong latecy because of latency is different wail scalled to different ECU's), for helping me out at 12:30 in the morning in Chat LOL
