Re: Ostrich + Tuner Pro You can alter the hex code old school style to do whatever you want w/ the knock sensor. Ignore it completely, ignore it below a certain boost threshold, below a certain rpm, etc etc. I have set it to ignore knock below 0psi.
I get massive amounts of knock at 4,500rpm when on boost. It pegs out the knock gauge (40 counts of knock, I think?). BTW, with 1gs, you measure the knock directly rather than by how many degrees of timing are pulled. I'm not sure how many degrees are pulled, but enough to feel a dramatic loss in power and send EGTs through the roof. This condition remains no matter how much/little boost i run, how rich/lean the AFRs are, or how much/little timing advance I dial in. Before adding the knock code, it would do the same thing even free revving it past 4k rpm in neutral.
