Just emailed the graphs and map. I mentioned several times, one thing I love about tuning with a dyno vs street is that you can really see how a setting effects the car. Corey's base run put down 350whp with a 12.5~12.8:1 AFR and 19* of peak timing. I richend up the the fuel map, and pulled 2 degrees of timing and it made the same power still. Basicly the dyno allows me to see when the car is just not making any more power and you're just pushing it for no reason. I'd rather run the car with more of a cushion and make the same power or lose 5whp if I can run a few points richer and a degree or two of less timing. I enjoy street tuning also, its quick and works. Theres also things the car does on the street that it wont on the dyno. |

Like run over kids while you're trying to do a tune in reverse? |

Hahah... christ. I think I saw your car in front of RRE now that I think about it? Sam, the reason why I take my car up to the dyno is so you can work your magic... Since everyone claims 12.8:1 and 20* peak on E85 thats what I was tuning for. Your 100% right, why run 2* more timing and a leaner AFR if the car doesn't show hardly any gains. I can't thank you enough for the tune, now its time to see what the hell it can do in a 1/4 mile run with a good 60ft. I'll talk to my gf and see if I can't sneak over to Fontana labor day weekend, I know she had a blast the last time I was up there and Sam was walking passed me every run. |

You two had better get used to the view from back there, I made the picture smaller so you can get an idea of how far ahead I'll be when I cross the finish line... |
