 Vibration during acceleration
Car begins to vibrate when I accelerate. Once I let off the gas the vibration goes away, so that makes it seem like a drivetrain issue. Also, my clutch pedal pulsates as I accelerate. It is more noticable if I slowly gain speed versus smashing on it. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in. Things I've done to figure out my problem are:
1) I checked the axles, there is no excessive play, and I didn't notice any torn boots.
2) I checked the wheel bearings.
I'm thinking I'm gonna have to pull the transmission to check the clutch.
Justin, didn't you have similiar symptoms when your clutch went bye bye?

 Re: Vibration during acceleration
I'm going with clutch related issue if it's only under acceleration.

 Re: Vibration during acceleration
it was the ACT one. And I figured out because I was stranded on the 210 and Carnelian.
Don't know how it exploded. I just hope that's the reason why the car would shake. I'm gonna check the clutch tomorrow. The pressure plate loooks good. I havent taken the plate off yet to check the clutch.

 Re: Vibration during acceleration
how many miles is usually not a question. I dont think jerry's clutch lasts the service life of the TOB LOL. Kinda like me and my 15K trans oil changes.

 Re: Vibration during acceleration
BTW I believe we found out what his issue is. He was missing the critical bolt on the back of the trans (above the diff). His trans was probably separating from the engine.
