Before i take my ride to RRE, i was wondering has anyone on here have experience the promblem i'm currently having with my 2g? I have a 2g gst and it smokes a grayish color out of the tail pipe when its sitting in idle for longer than 5 mins. It dosen't smoke while i'm driving only, but it also puffs out a lil grayish smoke with every start up. I will keep searching here and on the net for more answers but so far i've been told it could be bad valve seals, bad pistons, or the return line may need to be replace. It has 180,000 and i was wondering is my 4g63 is about to die??? |

valve stem seals probably. especially if it smokes more the longer you stay at idle, then when you take off you see big puff of smoke come out. |

Yep valve seals are more than likely dead. Ive replaced these a few times on several customer cars and on my own as well. Not too bad if you know what your doing. |
