 Multiple Issues and multiple possibiltys?
ALright well since I just got my gst last week Ive been trying t find all the things the guy before me screwed up but here are a few things im unsure as to what the issue is
#1 all of my wheels are torqued but my steering wheel shakes horribly when i try to go over 20mph i dont think my rotors are warped i pulled them all and pad wear seemed normal and no odd marks on the rotors so???? any idea
#2 my car was missing the spower steering pump when i bought it/ i put a new one in and it works but there seems to be a small leak on the drivers side from it but i dont see it leaking from anywhere obvous. Could it be seeping from the boot????
# the antifreeze had oil in it when i got it so naturally i thought blown head but there is no antifreeze in the oil on the dipstick or under the valve cover? this one confuses me the most because i ran a flush and it came out clean after a while but its slightly contaminated again...but i beleive it may be because the radiator hoses are saturated in oil so bad they sweat oil... i ran a compression check and i have 150 across the board and ther is no strnge buildup on the plugs at all either
Any help would be apreciated and if any one would be willing to come by and help me troubleshoot im in victorville thanks-J

Re: Multiple Issues and multiple possibiltys?
1. Get your tires balanced and aligned. If your brakes are warped, you'll only feel pulsing while braking unless you have a stuck caliper. If they are warped, after driving for a while, when you go to brake, you might have to pump the pedal once or twice from the uneven surface pushing the piston too deep into the caliper.
2. Hard to tell if you don't actually see the location of the leak. Recheck all your work and make sure it's all snug.
3. The turbo is another location coolant and oil can come in contact with. Check your turbo to make sure your turbo isn't blown

Get one of those UV dye kits and add some to your power steering fluid. That helped me track down the leak I had. Sometimes the power steering hose will leak where it is crimped by the solid end that bolts to the pump. It's hard to see b/c the insulator covers the entire hose.
