alright... so here's my dilemma and maybe y'all can help me out... the talon's been running hot lately and i don't know why... it looks like it fills up the overflow but it doesn't suck it back in... is it because i don't have a thermostat in? i don't know man... it's driving me crazy cause i have to put water/ coolant in it like everyday now... |

Same shit happend to me. It was my radiator.. Other then that are your fans turning off and on normally? You should be fine without a thermostat but i do recommend to put one back in. |

Thermostat possibly, also check your radiator cap. It might be bad and not holding the pressure. YOU MAY have a blown headgasket, if its pushing coolant out. I dont know what you have done to your car, FMIC? |

i have both fans spliced together cause i don't have a/c... it's turboed 420 with a fmic... the radiator is fairly new... the cap is holding pressure... the oil looks good so i don't think it's the head gasket... i'll try putting in a thermostat see if thet does anything... |

My thermostat died but in a fully open position on my GST before. It would fluctuate between 180-220 pretty quickly. I'd recommend getting an OEM thermostat, draining the fluid and flushing the radiator to make sure it's not clogged and possibly changing the coolant temp sensor. |

Your oil doesn't have to be milky, The head gasket can blow just between the cylinder and the cooling jacket. A compression test with one real low cylinder will let you know. |

what kind of head gasket?? having a built head has nothing to do with a head gasket leaking. Is it a Mistu metal 4 layer HG or a kragen felpro special? |

Fans coming on? Termostat working properly? Temp Sensor working properly? Radiator clogged? Radiator cap working correctly? If all of these things are working properly then either you have a HG leak, or a leak in your actual head. Did you overheat the car for a long time? You said you have a FMIC before all this started happening so getting enough air to your radiator is not really an issue. Does it get hot after you smash on it,from just normal driving, or sitting at a traffic light? |

Not to many people do this but it has happen. But if everything that h8-vtec said is good.Could it be the HG was installed wrong??? |
