Okay so this will be my last thread on this eclipse on figuring out what is wrong. I did the following and all were good

1. Compression check good 1 and 4 were 180 psi and 2 and 3 were at 210
2. Coil pack is good giving good spark
3. Spark plugs were gapped good
4. Sparkplugs wires also good spark
5. Tested injector sensors also good
6. Injector shooting gas
7. Fuel pump is pumping good pressure

The I checked the timing I know that the crank pulley has it mark to where its timed and it marked good.
exhaust cam look like this -O- then intake was off 3 teeth can this keep the car from turning on. Also it threw the code crankshaft positioning sensor.

having the intake off three teeth will definitely make the car not want to idle. It is also pretty close to where valves may start hitting pistons. I don't know if it being off will cause the crank shaft sensor code or if you need to replace the sensor as well.

Yeah before I ran out of gas the car was running. The I got empty up to a point where there was no gas and I crank it and nothing. The band was bad havent ran it since. So the engine never was one when he teeth jumped. Today I am buying a new timing belt ,belt tensioner ( I herd this was hard to install)> water pump while everything is out already. Do you count the teeth from the mark or no if no then it skipped 2 teeth.

Hey guys well I got all the parts spent about 200 buxs for everything. Now my question is what do I do about the intake cam gear since it went forward 3 teeth do I just turn the gear counter until it aligns with the exahust or what. I have been reading about changing this these past couple of days memorizing every mm haha. Nothing says anything about what to do if it the gear is skipped. I know no valves were hit since it looks like its only 2 teeth.

Once you release the tension from the belt then you simply rotate it back to align the marks. Follow the VFAQ on timing belt replacement to re-set the tension properly.

I am following the videos I have literally watched it like 20 times. I know now what to do and they said special tool for auto tensioner but someone at team-2g found a way by using big pliers and locking vice grips. Okay so I will attempt this myself and if everything goes good I will make it to the monday meets finally. If I cant do it I will pay the dealership to do it for me hahaha sike I do my own S**T.

All you need is the tool to compress the tensioner (really long M8X1.25 bolt) and then use some 90* C clip pliers to move the tensioner bearing to the correct place.

hahaha naw im not buying the tool I found a thread of how to put your 4g63 in time well I dont think I need it since im buying it new it leaks. Now I know why my timing jumped stupid tensioner. I really hope it fires up the first time if not then I will just sell it and buy another gst maybe I will get lucky and find another converted awd haha.

Oh yeah illeagle when I went to RRE there was this lady in the front really cool. I asked for you and she said oh yeah sam he is always late haha. Then she showed me your office space where you have the front part of the turbo as a well I dont know what it was holding haha. I was leaving and then she "Ey dont forget to grab your free license plate frame. That place was cool I was drooling over the that 4g eclipse in the fron sexy. haha off topic but time to take apart the front timing covers thingy majingies hahaha. At 2 in the morning nice.

Fuck my attempt to changing the timing belt was a no go I keep trying and trying and trying but no luck. Shit will just not line up I wonder what I am doing wrong. I let the tensioner sit for like 20 minutes like it says nothing. To mess around since I was bored I decided to check out the meet today but didnt go in I was in a smoked altima. All I saw was hondas is it behind a gold thing or something like that. Looks like a place were games and all of that are at. I also called the dealership and asked how much I told them just to put it on I have parts they told me 495. I was like 5 buxs yyyyeeessss. He ment 500 buxs I told him no I dont need the parts just someone to put the belt on he said I know 500 buxs I told him only 500 buxs why so cheap. He then said were the cheapest dealership around hahaha he didnt know I was being sarcastic. F**k im all out of options. Oh yeah illeagle how much will RRE charge to do it.
