Will it go into gear with the engine off.
If so, its your clutch system. Maybe check the reservoir to see if its full. Anything happen to cause that, any strange events before hand?

If the car is off and you can't move the shifter into any gears then it sounds like something mechanical is at fault.

My guess would be clutch system kuz when my clutch was smoked it did same thing. Although it went into gear with engine off. So my guess is mechanical as well (as mentioned above). Or maybe your tranny crapped out. Guys, correct me on that one if I'm wrong.

Re: 95 GST wont go into any gear?
sounds like something other then the clutch itself to me, if it were the clutch it would still go into gear when the car is off. take a look at the whole system and see what you can find.

Wont know till you take off the tranny and look at your clutch. Go over everything clutch related before it actually gets to the tranny part, i.e. cylinders, lines, fluid to rule out something little but you'll probably have to take out the tranny.

Re: 95 GST wont go into any gear?
I don't believe it can be anything related to the hydralics since it will not go into any gear with the car on/off. If the master/slave took a crap he should be able to pull it in and out of gear while the car was off. Check your shift linkage to make sure nothings jamming it up and after if you still want to try (even though i don't believe it will do crap) go through your hydraulic system and replace the components. Once that is done and your problem isn't resolved pull the trans and inspect the clutch components. But that still doesn't explain this to me. Are you sure you can't shift while the car is off?

First off the hydraulic issue needs to be fixed. A. Master cylinder or Slave cylinder, make its bled properly. Then report back.
