I'd put those honey combs back in. If you dont have em, go to a junk yard, find a galant MAF and cannabalise it for its honeycombs. |

I had the same problem on my 1st gen. It turned out to be the coil pack. So i changed it out and the spark plug wires just in case and wala... good as new. Fuel cut could be a number of things, bad fuel filter, injector clogged, low fuel pressure. It's a process of elimination. |

Feul cut is caused buy MAF overrun. Its when you start pulling more air than the MAF can read and it freaks out. Causes - BIG TURBO, or BIG boost leak so the turbo pulls alot of air to compensate for the leak. |
