I think its the Fuel Pump or the fuel filter. How can you check if its the pump or the filter? It has to be something with the fuel.

its pretty easy on a 420a. The filter is near the rear right tire comming out of the gas tank. Alot easier than the 4g63 brethren. I feel like an idiot about the title...420a -_-". But the job is 30 mins tops, easy.

how hard is it do install a fuel pump? on a 420A?

mine is an internal fuel pump. ur gonna need to drain the fuel most likely. idk i guess 2nd gen guys would help.
i think mine is different

Here is the VFAQ on changing a 2G FWD fuel pump.
I assume that the 420A uses the same fuel tank and pump as the 4G63 but I'm not 100% sure.
