I'm assuming this isn't a problem unique to me since both of the stock 2g eclipses I have bought have this issue. Both all stock 2ga, one is fwd and the other awd. When I give my car gas at a low rpm (around 2 to 3k) while I'm driving I feel it sputtering like it's not firing all cylinders till it gets to higher rpms (around 4 or 5k). It doesn't do this in first gear but fourth and fifth gear definitely give me trouble. It doesn't usually affect me since I'm not constantly gassing it, but I'm still curious what could be wrong, and if its and easy fix. |

Do you have a check engine light on? |

First thing I'd do is a boost leak test, this is most likely the culprit. It wouldn't hurt to get some new plugs and wires depending on the condition of your current set. Just run some stock heat range NGK BPR6ES plugs gapped at .030, NGK part number is 7133, O'reily's usually has them in stock at about $1.75 each. Keep us posted |

Check engine light is not on. I have new wires and plugs on both cars. Though I've had this problem since before the new plugs. Boost leak test, okay. I'll check that out. Thank you |
