 knocking/timing issue!!! First off ill say something about the car first. 1997 Eclipse AWD Spyder. Main issue im having is when im cruising at any gear or any speed and ease into the throttle it feels like im stepping on the brakes or towing something. I let off the throttle and I quickly jab the pedal again and same issue I release it again and then quickly jab the pedal and car pulls again. It does it when under load. If I go wot from 1stgear then 2nd then 3rd itll pull fine. Mostly does it when im cruising. I have to release/press the gas pedal a couple times before it pulls again. Feels like its knocking or timing is being retarded or something. The problem happens on/off sometimes im crusing at 5th at 65mph then ease into it and the car feels like its slowing down. This issue is really getting annoying lol dont know if im getting phantom knock or something. Any info? Dont have link either just a flashable ecu
Ecu and OEM knock sensor have been replaced.
Boost leak test done and fixed.
NEW OEM KNOCK SENSOR
E316G stock wastegate pressure

Re: knocking/timing issue!!! well that's hard to tell with out link or anything to see.. you may need some tune adjustments if any knock is coming out pump sucks!

Re: knocking/timing issue!!! I thought it was going to be something like "check this" or "check that" haha but yhea I swapped spark plug wires and regaled the mew ones and that did nothing :/. I ordered link already and it should be here friday. Now I just gotta learn to log and whatnot haha ill keep you mijas updated.
