Post Stock oil pressure gauge
The wiring to my sending unit was chewed off by a rabbit and since then my oil pressure gauge has been acting strange. As I drive it, it goes up all the way to the top, then down below the middle and then to the bottom, my question is what is causing it to do that? is it my oil pressure actually changing up that much? or is the wiring causing it to short out?

It is probably from the messed up wiring, the best thing to do would be to install a good aftermarket gauge as the stock one really isn't that good to start with.

Yup, i look at the stock oil pressure as a means to know if your pump is still working. Thats if you dont have an aftermarket gauge
