I really need some help, i just replaced my engine and it now has like a rough idle and throws white smoke intermittently when i accelerate. The engine i got was from i 97 w/auto trans and so i had to swap out the intake manifold with mine. Everything looks really good. When i first started it up some water had came out of the tail pipe which i am assuming was because when i had removed the heads on my old engine i found that to of the piston chambers were completely flooded with coolant so that which is probably why my exhaust had water in it. The smell coming from the exhaust is a pretty weird smell. SOMEONE E please help. Could this be a vacuum leak maybe? |

Is the engine rebuilt? Sounds like valve stem seals are done Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2 |

swapped intake manifold? Dont see why you had to just cuase it was auto |

Bad stem seals cause black smoke. Make sure your turbo isn't blown, throttle body is sealing water. if those 2 are fine, do a compression test to.check for a bad head gasket. |
