I have had a boost controller on my car for about 4 months, since i did the 14b swap. Just a week ago i noticed that i was only hitting 11 psi where as before it was set at a consistent 15 psi. I checked for boost leaks and i had one in the bov gasket but i changed it and yet the problem still persists... I did some research on dsmtuners and found that maybe i could have a collapsed flex section in the down pipe, im still on a stock down pipe, or the other culprit could be a clogged cat. How likely are my findings to be the problem? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated! |

Hmm, I'd check some easy to get to stuff first. What kind of mbc is it? Check and make sure it's still doing it's job. Double check the vacuum lines to the wg actuator and boost controller. Does the wg actuator feel like it's got good tension on the flapper arm? Hows the shaft play on that turbo? I had a cat get clogged on an old car of mine once and it was pretty noticeable. Major loss of power, big difference in exhaust tone and eventually blew the exhaust manifold gasket. |

check everything dustin suggested looking over. i think a clogged cat causes your manifold to glow, so it might not be the cat. |
