Fitment on Mishimoto X-Line Rad
Has anyone tried this 3 core rad yet? I want to change out my OEM rad and was thinking of getting this one. My main concern is will this just drop in, and will I still be able to use my stock fans with it. I have a 2g gst with a 16g, and the punishment racing fmic installed. Or should I stick with the regular Mishimoto 2 core rad. I was also looking at the Megan rad. Anyone have any experience with this one as well. Thanks guys for your help!

I would just stick with with the a after market 2inch radiator core. Im not sure your set-up will have fitment issues using the 3 inch core, but eventually down the line you will if you upgrade your turbo set up. Besides it's not like you get more powa from an extra inch radiator. I'd rock a 2 inch and keep the stock fans as long as you can. They flow better than slim fans.
I have Punishment Racing Radiator with only one OEM (main) fan, 20g turbo and external wastegate. I'm going with a slim fan as my secondary fan because the waste gate is in the way of my oem fan

Thanks for the info! My car overheated Monday, and I didn't help matters turning the AC on full blast! Looks like one of the hoses failed. So ima just going to replace all of them. Since I'll be doing that, I might as well upgrade my rad. It totally slipped my mind that my fmic would affect cooling

Stick with the regular one, use a mixture of 70/30 water/coolant with some water wetter and one really good flowing fan and you should be ok

Ya Sam @ RRE told me the same...he also said stick with the stock hoses as well. I wanted to change those out to Samcos.
