I vote for white as well and have the roof painted black to commemorate the old bird that is gone, but not forgotten |

Got around to pulling my cylinder head off. Bottom end honestly looks good for 60K of 400+ft lbs of tq on a day to day basis. Head gasket was pretty blown LOL, I knew it was dead, but didnt think this dead. Whats up adam?! Why does my car still run with a dead head gasket? You can see where the combustion leaked all the way out to the edge of the block deck, completely out of the engine. Combustion traces on the headgasket, beyond the sealing ring, beyond the cooling jackets...all the way out. I raced 5 hours of a 7 hour rally like this....with a broken rear diff and dying transfer case. I didn't quit till the alternator died. http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a163/ ... 210212.jpg One cylinder after miles of abuse. More to come! |

LOL i guess im just better at blowing HG's then you are but seriously that bottom end looks great considering how you beat the living piss out of your car. oh and i have a prototype 90A polyurethane front roll stop for you, i heard you ruined yours in the crash so i dare you to break this one ill have to make it out to the shop one evening when you will be there late |

Awesome. I'll be throwing in the front subframe bushings I got from you a long time ago, along with a modifying the lower control arm pickups during this build. So you'll be getting some feedback. I also gotta send out my JIC's to get revalved, get some hypercoil 9K and 5k springs for em too. |
