1AM, 01 NOV 2010 on my way back from school in rancho chukamongas, going up cajon pass i hear a bang and a shit ton of smoke inside and outside of the car doing about 80mph, bye bye motor. After towing it home hootnanny style with a rope and ripping out the power steering line and bracket on the front bumper, because i was a dumass, i had her sitting in the garage for almost a year until i finally start taking ish apart and this is what i find first thing to drop on the deck after removing the oil pan ![]() ![]() ![]() Heres the block after removing the starter, as u can see the rod just hole fucked the block ![]() Parts i have so far: -Complete 6 bolt bottom end -1G TD05 14b turbo with o2 housing dump setup, no play at all -2g Head -2g intake manifold -1g 60mm TB -2g tranny What i need after some research, opinions appreciated -2g pistons purchased used or new set with rings from partsdinosaur.com on 1g rods -main and rod bearings, gaskets, seals, balance shaft eliminator kit, mls head gasket, valve seals from partsdinosaur.com -arp head, main and rod bolts -intake ported to match 60mm TB -TB rebild with FIAV setup from tmzperformance.com -new couplers for Intercooler piping, using stock smic -CAS harness -new 1g water pump -lighter flywheel -new clutch assembly prob act 2100 or 2600 -block will be hot tanked, honed and magnafluxed -head will be hot tanked and head stud holes bored 1mm im going along with the 6 bolt guide on dsmtuners but if anybody has any advice or comment please feel free i will update as much as i can |
