Re: Do i really need a bottom end rebuild Remember this rule; If the sound is 1/2 crank speed then the problem is in your heads. If the sound is crank speed then the problem is in your block. With that being said,... You only learn by doing. We can all give you opinions on what it could be,but in the end, you won't know til you do the job yourself. IMO It sounds like It might be valves. Don't run your motor anymore. Another important rule to learn, DON'T BREAK IT MORE THAN IT ALREADY IS! You keep running your motor even in park and you can make a small problem a junkyard tow. LAST AND FINAL RULE... DON'T RACE YOUR AUTOMATIC AGAINST AN EVO. smh

Re: Do i really need a bottom end rebuild was trying to get it home, cause i couldnt afford the tow yet at all, i had it in culver where i'd have to be driving twenty miles to see if i had the 72 hour violation and move it for street sweeping its and extra fourty miles of travel to check on it, i needed to get it home, but it ended with me having to tow it but it ended up being cheaper of a tow then the original location it was at
