Re: evo throttle body
I call Bullshit.
Hes claiming direct bolt on, no modification or fabrication on a TB that fits subarus, nissan and mitsu. Fuck....a stock evo TB bolts on to the 2G intake mani. but the cable is not going to hook up or any of the idle control stuff, not the TPS. I guess technically it "bolted" on. He's got some bad ass "JDM style" (didnt know it became a fashion thing) throttle body then.
In anycase, if you arent pushing serious airflow to actually benefit from a 70mm TB, its a waste of time and money. If you have a sub 500whp turbo, stick to a 1G 60mm. Seriously, 10mm difference, im talking the diameter of a BIC pen. Is that seriously going to take a 16G from a 300whp car to a 350whp car? I dont think so. Not worth the fabrication, lack of idle control, stalling, inconsistant throttle return spring.

Re: evo throttle body
ya i hear you i thought about for a sec like it would have been a dumb idea, looking at my 2g manifold, and i thought for a sec like wait, this is a guy trying to sell off craigslist of course he'd say shit like this, from there it was no further question already on the search for that 1g tb
