Re: BOV SSQV or TYPE Rs
Greddy or stock 1G BOV. Yes it has to be recirculated if you are still running a stock MAF system. If you switch to DSMlink and run speed density, then you can vent without any drawbacks.
HKS suck. Everything they make for the general public Suck.
...Except their cams, pretty damn good, but Kelford and GSC are better but up till 2 years ago or so, HKS cams were king.

Re: BOV SSQV or TYPE Rs
I couldn't decide which BOV to get back in the day, so I put 6 of them on my car. Depending on my mood, I will leave some hooked up, and others not hooked up, or if I want shit to get CRAZY I will hook up all 6. It sounds SOOOO sick! I have a Greddy Type R, Greddy Type-S, Greddy Type RS, HKS SSQV GTR V-Spec II, TiAL 50mm, and a TurboXS RFL. I also keep a Blitz BOV in my glove compartment just in case I need it, for certain car meets.

Re: BOV SSQV or TYPE Rs
If you already have the SSQV, just leave it till it becomes a problem. You got other bigger issues to deal with than lose sleep over a BOV. Its not going to kill your car, nor will it make 10+ whp.
