steering wheel shaking
I just bought 4 brand new tires and the steering wheel shakes around 80mph. Does anybody know why this is happening? I have search the internet for some information. Some say i may need my tires balanced and rotated or it could be steering wheel column but I don't know if thats common with DSM's. if anyone have any suggestion or can direct me to a link which could be the cause of this issue that would be helpful.
thanks

Re: steering wheel shaking
Either they need to get them balanced or your inner and outer Tie rod ends.

Re: steering wheel shaking
also if you get the shaking when breaking your rotors could be warped, but when you get on new tires always get them balanced dont cheap out its barely extra

Re: steering wheel shaking
Always get fresh mounted tires balanced. Regularly get an alignment done.

Re: steering wheel shaking
Balance and check to make sure you dont have any wheelbearing/tie rod play.
