i have a small 16g turbo

and all stock fuel system.. is it this why am getting fuel cut???

i hit 3500 in first gear n if am stepping hard in the gas pedal i get fuel cut :/ any ideas??

your turbo is putting in too much air into the cylinders, because its spooling and building too much boost

how can i fix tht??? also my gauge is showing tht is only boosting 9 psi

bigger injectors and maybe a piggyback, and a upgraded fuel pump, how did this all happen with the turbo? did you just decide to toss in a new turbo? the MAF sensor is reading too much air coming in. the turbo may not be boosting so high but its building up a lot more air than stock since it is a 16g

well i bought the car like tht but had a bad block n i just replaced my block n i notice this... i have a 255 walbro bt not on would tht help if i put tht in my car??

ya i'd suggest getting a piggyback too so its its not just dumping air and fuel just cause your parts are making it, you need something to control the mixture you get me?

unless you have the fuel system to support that 16g run it at stock boost pressure. from the "j" pipe to wastegate actuator.a piggyback is like a SAFC , but preferably get ecmlink bigger injectors and fuel pump and get the car tuned.

ok i see so even doe is a small 16g i need to do all those upgrades?? damn wht can b the easiest way to make it my daily driver?? do i have to get a stock turbo???

do i need a mbc to do tht?? or is there hoses tht have to b connected sertain way to have stock boost??

an MBC would be your best route, get one from RRE they can tell you lots about what you need to know

Make sure youre using the correct plugs. When I first bought my old gst, I had what I thought was fuel cut. I experienced the same symptoms youre describing. After I did the maintenance on it, I found it had the wrong spark plugs and then I put ngk bpr6es plugs and it started boosting fine. I also had an evo3 but it was mated to a 14b on the hotside. I ran it at stock boost and had no problems whatsoever.
