I need help with Mounts tech
So I'm new to the dsm scene and am learning little by little. Quite a difference from hondas. What I was wondering, does anyone know a website where I can find cheap parts. mostly misc. like bolts, plates and stuff like that. Also, does anyone know where i can buy a set of new mounts? My old ones got messed up when I pulled my 4g63T out and I don't wanna spend so much buying new ones when everything is going in stock. So no point in expensive aftermarket ones. Also,i see that there are some Inserts sold. My question is,do you get rid of the complete interior insert of the mount on ur stock? On hondas I know inserts are just pieces u insert to fill the void in the stock mounts. so the inserts aren't solid. Any help is appreciated. thanks.

1. Please make in intro in the proper section and tell us a little about your self and your DSM 2. The motor mounts are inserts on 2 of them (front and rear) and the other 2 (timing side & trans.) are replacing the whole rubber part in the mount. 3. Glad you left hondas

http://www.raktron.com/misc/mt.htmYou can try this if your mount is still intact somewhat.

Re: I need help with Mounts tech
For the best price on OEM hardware that you don't want to trust with Home Depot hardware like trans bolts, exh man studs, turbo bolts, etc, call Riverside Mitsubishi and ask for Dave. He's a DSM parts guru and can get you what you need at a great price. Mention you're a DSM guy (which will be obvious by the parts you're ordering) and he'll give you the old Club DSM discount from the old days. Best price around for OEM hardware.
