Is there any place in Los Angeles area where I can buy a rebuild tranny. Please tell me that Jacks or TRE is not the only place in the entire country that can help me out here. Don't want to have to go to the dealership I know they will be very pricey.

I don't know about whether any shops around here have rebuilt transmissions for sale for much less than the dealer, but have you considered getting a used transmission from someone in the community and, if necessary, then getting it rebuilt ? If that is an option, look at the Parts for Sale section here and the Classified section on Dsmtuners for transmissions and see if any of them are in the socal area. I'm going AWD and will have a FWD transmission for sale soon myself, pm me if interested. (PS, admins: I wasn't aware of whether it would be appropriate to mention that in a tech post, please notify me or remove it if its not cool.) |

Ya KarKing No good Trust me I see how they do business and there not worth it Either tell Sam @ RRE Or I got someone that worked for Mitsubishi for 20 Years and does the best work around for putting it back to Stock Actually Im in the process of building up a Tranny Stage 4 stlye or even 3.0 style basically Capable of 600 HP, plus I got Dave From Riverside Mitsubishi behind me and Ill post up later how it goes So if your interested just reply.................................. |
