That's really weird though man. If you're curious enough you could unbolt the outside cover and take a quick peek at 5th gear.

so im kinda stumped, the trans i put in my Talon to get me by, till i drop some coin on a LSD diff, wont go into 5th. its like it doesnt exist, it doesnt grind, it wont go into there in netural. it goes into reverse perfectly but it wont even go into where 5th is. i even tried to get into 5th by using the shift arm on the trans. anyone got any ideas? my 1st though was a bad shift rail but then reverse wouldent work either, right? |

Maybe someone forgot the pin that holds the 5th gear shift fork to the hub/slider when they were reassembling everything. I have some experience with this >.< |
