rpm gauge problems
so i was heading to work and i noticed that my rpm gauge started to go crazy like a crack head in Hollywood blvd when you tell him youll give him some crack if he dose the C walk, anyways i notice last night that it came to a dead stop, not even my SAFC reads rpm, any ideas? sensor ?

Make sure your Vehicle Speed Sensor is plugged in snug. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie- ... meter.html

Transistor pack. The signal that goes out to the tach is from the transistor pack, and if they tapped the SAFC into that same signal, it'll happen also.

well it went back to going all crazy again and the SAFC is solder on so everything is solid, ill check the transistor pack, thank ill let you guys know.

just checked the transistor and i has white residue on the bottom, dont know if thats normal, i checked all the wireing from the SAFC and they are all still solid joined with solder, but still no differance.

just looking at it wont fix it. The signal for your tach comes DIRECTLY from that transistor pack. And if whoever installed your SAFC tapped into that wire also, it will make the display on the AFC screw up too. Try a different transistor. Clean the connections.

Ended up buying a new transistor and turns out that was the problem, thanks Sam . Lock it up
