Back Up Lights
Hey guys just noticed the back up lights weren't going on when i put the car in reverse i checked the easy things first bulbs and fuse. I replaced th bulbs withnew ones and visually inspected the fuse and it appears t be ok. I checked the "back up lamp" fuse inside the cabin. Any other fuses i should look at? I pulled out the back up swith that goes on top of the trans. I dont know what to look for other than that. I dont have anythin to test the switch with. Do these go bad often? I dont want to go buy one and have it turn out to be something else.
Any advice?

Re: Back Up Lights
"Reverse lights" and it might be time to bust out the multimeter or stop caring if people don't know you're backing up.

Re: Back Up Lights
honestly it doesnt really even bug me at all but seeing as how dumb ppl are when it comes to driving i feel like someone is stupid enough to assume that the only way a car can be backing up is if the lights go on and not by simply noticing that the car is moving. Sensor is 12 bucks at vatozone wantto ge mine tested but dont know anyone with a multimeter

Re: Back Up Lights
jump the plug, get a jumper wire and use it on the plug that goes to the sensor (with the key in the "on" position, if the lights turn on with the jumper wire, then it's the sensor. i did that last night on a 1g.
