Thats something way easier to do when the engine is out of the car. IMO it's not even worth the hassel to do it unless the motor is out.

Re: How to install a BSEK?
Are you building a motor? Are you balancing the rotating assembly? If no then don't do this mod. Its a PIA, and if you ask its already way over your head. Believe me its not worth the time and effort to do.

Re: How to install a BSEK?
Yes i am rebuilding a 6 bolt which is why i want to do this since the engine is gonna be worked on outside the chasis. And depending on my economic status in a couple weeks i might balance the assembly. How much is a basic balance? Average?

Re: How to install a BSEK?
It all depends on how far you are taking the balancing weither you are including the flywheel, the crank pulley and the rotating assembly. if you are just doing the rotating assembly then it should only run a couple hundred bucks

Is there stages to balance an assembly?

Re: How to install a BSEK?
No I dont think there ever should have been "stages" for performance parts because one persons stage is different than another and the stages tell us nothing about the product. most of the time depending on your goals people just balance the rotating assembly. but do not balance the clutch with it if anything only do the flywheel and pulley with the rotating assembly.
