is my headgasket okay?
i have a eagle talon, i love it but its giving me a problem im not sure how to solve. i love running my car, and with the mods ive done to it incuding fmic, 16g, boost controller; i have seemed to have possibly wounded my head gasket. the symptons are over heating and lack of power, but only after ive been running it for a while. and with only running 10 boost with some creep. could it possibly be the water pump? i already did the thermostat, and was told without the supporting mods ive wounded the gasket. best route i should go anyone?

Re: broken wing
Run the car at idle without a radiator cap and see if you can see a constant flow of air bubbles . You can also do a compression test. I've been running the setup you have for a while no problems. I also have a fmic 15psi on a E3 16g and boost controller with no supporting mods. My car was overheating but that was because my head came lose and torqued it down problem went away. There's a few people on here that run the same setup with no supporting mods.
I seriously thought this was going to be a thread on a broken wing lol.

Re: is my headgasket okay?
You should be perfectly safe only running 10-12psi, but that's not to say your head gasket is fine. Do the checks Wally recommended and search tuners for some more info on it. You can also take a sample of your coolant somewhere to get checked to see if it's been contaminated from a blown gasket. One check is to take off the rad cap, start the car and warm it up, then give it a little gas and see if coolant shoots out like a geyser. If it does, you have a leak from one of the cylinders into the cooling system.

Re: is my headgasket okay?
By your avatar it seems like you have a huge fmic, are you using the stock radiator?

Re: is my headgasket okay?
When was the last time you replaced your radiator cap? A bad radiator cap causes the engine to overheat.
