Re: Project automatic bye bye
Alright alvin and gentlemens!!!
Before I turn my car on I want to make sure the right fluids are in
Transmission: Redline MT90 Trasfer case: Redline heavy weight shockproof Rear differential: Redline heavy weight shockproof Clutch: Brake fluid DOT3
Is there anything else I should check for before I fire this bitch up or something I should encounter on startup noises or any normal smell.
Also I want to know how I should break in the clutch and how I should drive it. Am I allowed to go freeway speeds?? What rpms should I not pass?? I just need to drive it normally right changing gears often or is that a big no no.

Don't slip it. Drive it easy for the first few hundred miles and make sure the pedal is adjusted correctly or it'll make contact with the flywheel when it's not suppose to.

Re: Project automatic bye bye
SHE LIVES AGAIN!!!!!
Got the car started finally and it was idling kinda high but no big deal. Also I pushed the clutch in went through all the gears and NO GRINDING OR SIGN OF IT STRUGGLING TO GO IN GEAR ALL GEARS WENT IN SMOOTH. Also reverse lights works as well. I put the car in first gear and the car started to move forward yyeessss. Then I popped it into reverse and the car went back yyyeeesssss. I completely my 5 speed swap just like I had said and im seriously so fuckin proud I did something like this and it everything worked perfect. No tranny leaks no diff leaks no transfer case leaks no antifreeze leaks no oil leaks nothing. When I push in the clutch the gears go in smooth but when I start to let go of the clutch it has like around an inch and half of play to two inches. here is a video and disregard all the talking and me yelling out of happiness lol. All in all I dont like how much the pedal lifts to engage the clutch but IDK if its normal or not. All the gears go in smoothly no grinds or anything theres no noise whatsoever.
