Brake light on after new pads?!!
Just installed new front pads on my 2g but now the stupid brake light stays on after i put down the emergency brake. i went trough made sure everything was bolted up and that it looked okay. we even bled the system to make sure no air was left on the lines. is there a sensor that i probably mest up during the install? I still need to do the rear pads would this be a cause to why the light keeps staying on?? thanks!

Re: Brake light on after new pads?!!
it is all just a coincedence as the switch for the brake light is in the center console right at the bottom of the brake lever. take some electrical parts cleaner, pull off the switch, and give it a good spritzing. the reverse the previous instructions.

Also check to make sure the float in the brake fluid reserve isn't stuck at the bottom.
