Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this RRE only had gaskets for the Evo. Good thing I don't live or work too far from them lol. Good news is that I got a brand new 1G dash for $20  Wally, they should have the gasket tomarrow.

Would using the metal headgasket be more better then the composite since Im eventually going 16g. I read and its said that the metal gasket is better for a resurfaced head and block so the geometry would be correct got that from RRE.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this Your right the metal gasket is more better (double neg=cancel out) than the composite. FYI i rock the composite HG just because i would rather have the HG be the weak point in case anything goes wrong.

Yeah your right if anything goes, better it be the headgasket. So tomorrow composite gasket EM gasket and IM gasket. Im guessing it was a sign that I was not ment to get that gasket lol since RRE didnt have it.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this Well got my gaskets today mike hooked it up I got a composite headgasket 4 layer exhaust gasket and a intake gasket for 80 buxs flat no tax lol. Time to clean up things and man I gots to say when I took out the valve cover its was silver I mean clean I was like wtf lol. I already my car is going to be running better then before. I will keep updating this thread with more pics of the engine after im done with it and the pics I took of me pulling the 7 bolt out.
