Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Well sam the oil pan is off and I did pinch my finder dropping he T-Case lol. Rod 4 has so play im guessing thats were my knocking is comming from then. So much for my clean up job on the pistons . Should have checked the rod first haha. Well the bearing has some marks on them worse then jram so im picking up my engine today from semi valley and starting the swap and hopefully get back on the road by monday. It has the 1g cam sensor so im good. Now back to finish taking out the engine and disconnecting things here and there. Oh yeah when I dropped the oil pan I did see some metal shaving not a lot buy very very very minimal shavings. While the intake is off im going to try and get a 1g TB for a upgrade. I dont want to do it while its on the engine since I dont want to risk metal shaving falling inside the IM and sucked into the engine.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Got my engine. Now its 11 at night and still taking things out engine should be out tomorrow and trying to put this one back on. Swapped my revised lifters in and the new rocker arms. Put on the 1g CAS and now just waiting until I can fire it up and set base timing at 5 degrees right. Time to find a timing light. Does anybody know if I have to switch the wires its still a 7 bolt I keep reading I need to change them around or something. Does this apply to me lol. I need the wiring harness now. If im saying things all types wrong please correct me since im super tired.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
It cost me only 700 buxs somewhat new evo3 engine gaskets oil antifreeze all this miscellaneous thigns and yeah. The 6 bolt will have to wait even tho I could have done it but its easier for the 5 speed people they dont need the 300$$$ kiggly kit that us auto need. Yeah what clint said sums it the walls look really bad there rugged pics dont explain how it feels but that engine didnt work anyways. Thanks tho sam for all your help now I need to go to RRE and get the EM manifold gasket and put this engine on.

Kevin yeah please do me that huge favor pick up the metal headgasket intake gasket and exhaust manifold gasket. I just bought new seal the ones I thought were new hardened up. So new seal all around rear front cams all that good stuff. 2 4g63 engines in the living room FTMFW lol. My mom said this "QUITAME ESTAS BABOSADAS DE LA SALA"aka get all this crap out of here. me how dare you call them that haha. Oh yeah engine is out BTW. Kevin again before you buy them im going to figure out how much they cost I know sam said 16 buxs for the one gasket but dont know about there. These felpro ones feel superweak.

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
yes you will have to swap plug wires around due to using a 1G style CAS
