if they are actually a rebuild shop have them inspect it for you replace bearings and such (you might pay more but its piece of mind)

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Well I have officially decided that I am doing a mild rebuilt on this 7 bolt to last me until I save up to rebuilt a 6 bolt and go from there I know I wont regret doing the swap. Im using my 7 bolt head since it flows better and gives more mid-range torque right mcfly Anyways I went today to pick up my motor from yes a RVR from japan wack but I didn't end up buying since there warranty made it look like I had no warranty. My warranty got voided if I ran the engine hard didn't keep up with oil changes if the rings failed or the valves made contact with pistong wtf. I left there while the guy was still explaining the warranty F that. So yeah just waiting for my engine im using my old block and crank since the the other block was not usable neither was the crank . I will update this later just giving you guys a lil update and since everyhere keeps saying go 6 bolt. Until now I saw all the money I threw at this i could have been going 6bolt .

Re: Wally just failed why yes he did read this
Its costing me around 500. This includes new pistons new rings new oil pump cleaning of the old block and going .20 over. Some other things but don't know. My dad's friend is putting the engine together for me since there is no way im doing that don't want to mess it up. Then just start saving up and taking it easy on this 7 bolt until I got enough cash for a 6 bolt then blow this one up lol.
